Top Defensive Champions in Tower Rush

While aggressive, damage-dealing Champions often get all the glory, defensive heroes are the true backbone of many top-tier decks.

If you prefer a playstyle that relies on frustrating the opponent into making mistakes, a defensive hero is your perfect avatar.
The Unmovable Objects
Unlike offensive tanks that target buildings, these defensive walls usually target enemy troops, ensuring they engage the threat immediately.

This combo can instantly delete twenty elixir worth of enemy troops for a fraction of the cost, setting you up for an unstoppable counter-push.
The 'Skeleton King' archetype is perfect for this.Use them to block the bridge completely.Don't let them walk across the bridge alone after defending. The Backline Masters
Their abilities are complex, often involving stealth, piercing shots, or the ability to summon temporary defensive structures on the fly.

The 'Archer Queen' archetype is the premier example; her ability to turn invisible and fire rapidly makes her the ultimate tank-killer.
When to Use SkillThe ResultActivating Stealth right before an enemy spell landsThe spell misses entirely, wasting the opponent's elixir and keeping your primary defender alive for the counter-attackTriggering an AoE stun when enemy swarms cross the riverFreezes the entire enemy push in place, allowing your Princess tower to pick them off safely without taking damage Building Around Your Defender
When using a defensive champion, your deck must reflect a patient, control-oriented philosophy.

It is not as flashy as a massive beatdown push, but it is incredibly consistent and frustrating to play against.
